70s disco queen Donna Summer may well be the hottest thing to appear out of that decade after Afghan Fur Trims and Cheesecloth Fabrics. Having already sold 130 million albums, Summer is back with a wonderfully sparkling new release, Crayons.

Rihanna / Umbrella
It’s a very cool idea and such a fun song. Plus she’s very cute and classy.

Fergie / Big Girls Don’t Cry
Big Girls Don’t Cry, indeed, Fergie! An old title, a new song. I love it!

Barbara Streisand / People
I was a teenager when I heard this song for the first time and it stopped me in my tracks. Her voice has about as much magic as any human voice can.

James Taylor / Fire and Rain
It’s a deep and emotional song and, as a songwriter, it’s very inspiring. That, coupled with his voice, makes him a force to reckon with.

Sting / Fragile
A delicate song with an important message.

Tim McGraw / Live Like You’re Dying
I loved this song from the first time I heard it. It made me take stock of my life. Tim is a cute guy, too.

Andrea Bocelli / Whatever he sings!
It would take a million words to describe his voice. Unfortunately, some of those words have not yet been written.

Lily Allen / Alfie
I just love her album.
