London DJs The Nextmen have a cool new video out for their soon-to-be-released single Lion’s Den, which features the vocals of Ms. Dynamite and Andy Catois and is set to burn down dancefloors.

Jack Penate / Todays Tonight
This is an extremely difficult one to explain. I guess it’s Afro-Folk-Pop, or something horrible like that. It’s a great track with a lovely atmosphere and a welcome return from Penate. This one was produced by the mighty Paul Epworth, who manages to give it a unique and classic sound.

MJ Cole / Sincere (Nero Remix)
We’ve just come across this one. It evokes memories of the original while bringing it up to date with a Dubstep twist. The production is top class and the overall atmosphere is intense. Should be big in the clubs but still manages to make wicked home listening. In other words, it doesn’t sound like someone chainsawing their own head off.

Lethal Bizzle / Go Hard
The Funky Drummer has returned. About time, too, I reckon. Excellent beat produced by, and featuring the vocal talents of, Donaeo. Bizzle also brings it with a retro vocal that fits perfectly. It’s another mix of the old and brand new and is likely to have us dancing behind the turntables.

Logistics / Jungle Music
In a sea of noisy, heavy machinery led drum n’ bass, there lies this tune featuring smple, solid drums and incredibly deep bass and subtlety mixed with dancefloor smashing heaviness. The world needs more drum n’ bass like this. Cambridge, stand up!

The Style of Eye / The Big Kazoo
Wickedly fresh sounding house track from Sweden. with a great build up and heavy atmosphere. We’re gonna be getting this into the sets. Who’d have thought a kazoo could feature on such a hot track?

Trigga / Yes Fly Gyal
Straight out of Manchester, this bashy little number is sure to get the clubs swaying. Reminds me of early UK stuff, Demon Boys, Hijack and others, but made for now. Great production and an infectious chorus make it a winner. We’re looking forward to giving this a spin in the clubs.

Dizzee Rascal / Butterfly
Dizzee brings back the dance that should never have gone away. It’s not easy, but all girls should learn it because as the man says, ‘It gets the party started’ and ‘It’s kinda like a culture, it’s more than a hobby’. The best thing about it is how it translates so well through a drum n’ bass work-out courtesy of Shy Fx.

Fuzzy Logik Ft. Egypt / In The Morning
Yeah, we like this. There’s some great stuff coming out of the funky scene over here and this has all of the elements needed to cook up a sun-drenched smash. Reminiscent of early UK garage and eighties pop, this will be all over the airwaves for the summer and beyond.
