Bruce Springsteen / Born to Run
Whenever I hear this song, I crank it up all the way. It’s definitely one of my all time favorites. Any time I’m driving down the Jersey Turnpike and need a pick me up, this is the song I play. Jersey Baby!

Bob Marley and the Wailers / Redemption Song
Since most of the time that I’m listening to music is when I’m driving, I tend to listen to a lot of classics that will put me in the right frame of mind. Bob Marley was able to capture a feeling in this song that still sings to me today.

Nirvana / Smells Like Teen Spirit
When the chorus sings ‘Here we are now/Entertain us’, I always smile. This is the song that brought punk into the mainstream. It was 1991 just graduating grammar school and believe it or not I was hooked.

Rolling Stones / Satisfaction
The riff just gets me amped whenever I hear it. The Stones were, and still are, in my opinion, one of the best shows on earth. I love that they can still rock out.

The Beatles / Let it Be
Classic and amazing. One of their last hits together and my favorite: ‘When I find myself in times of trouble/Mother Mary comes to comes to me’. Awesome!

Simon and Garfunkel / Bridge over Troubled Water
Paul Simon has been a real mentor to me and this song is beautifully written and simple. It’s a classic example of less is more when it comes to production.

Jon Secada / Just Another Day
This is a song that first showed me that being someone who was bilingual in Spanish and English simply meant that I could sing in both languages and that would be ok. He sings with passion and is one of my inspirations.

Jose Feliciano / Light my Fire
Here was a Puerto Rican from the Barrio burning up the charts before it was cool to be Latino. He is one of my heroes. It’s also one hell of a fun song.
